Take Care
Be careful with me. My fragile paper heart has been torn by so many. Its edges are ragged from years of pretend embraces that whispered of love, but smelled of betrayal. No longer is it crisp and hopeful as the heart of a trusting child. That sweet innocence has long been stolen by the wolves who posed as my guardians. Frayed from deception and disappointment, its transparent skin could hardly take another wound from a being I trust so much. Be near me, but mind my delicate heart as you do.

I truly hope that your writing gives you solace. There is a sorrow in your writing tempered by a sense of hope for what tomorrow will bring. Nurture that hope, for the sky will not always be cloudy.
